When planning a family holiday, it is particularly important to make the children feel comfortable and to introduce them to the joys of winter sports as soon as possible. While the little ones can enjoy lots of playful fun in Bobo’s children’s area, two conveyor belts make it easier for the slightly older ones to master their first turns on skis. Support for everyone is provided by the local ski school, which offers suitable courses for beginners and experienced skiers alike. Of course, this also applies to all adult guests who want to improve successfully. With additional activities such as tobogganing, a flight with the Airrofan, snowtubing or winter hiking, our ski area brings variety to the family holiday. Lots of fun and enjoyment guaranteed!
The Rofan is a typical beginner’s ski area and located right at the doorstep of the local hotels. If you want to learn how to ski here, you are in exactly the right place. The very youngest take their first steps as skiers in the children’s area in the valley, slightly older children are in good hands in the ski school.

BOBO, the penguin of the Achensee Aktiv Snowsports ski school accompanies our little guests through an exciting week of skiing. Specially trained children’s ski instructors promise lots of fun and games as well as safety. On our sunny beginner’s slope with a magic carpet, the first turns are quickly mastered and motivate for further progress. Various courses and obstacles await children who have already had some practice.
Penguin BOBO regularly drops by for a short visit to the children’s area to perform fun dances with the kids.
Skiing makes you hungry. To ensure that the little ones are still ready for fun in the snow in the afternoon, lunch supervision is also provided on request. This way, children and parents can enjoy their ski day to the fullest.
